Baby bath towel

Children with disabilities in Blantyre, Malawi are growing up with very limited access to everyday essentials. For many families, even basic hygiene items are difficult to afford, leaving children without the comfort and care they deserve. Centre for Disability and Elderly Affairs (CDEA) is seeking donations of new or gently used baby bath towels to support underprivileged children with disabilities in the community. Clean, soft towels help keep children warm, comfortable and cared for after bathing, while also supporting dignity and good hygiene. Your support can ease the burden on families and provide simple but meaningful comfort to vulnerable children. Together, we can help ensure these children are cared for with warmth and respect.

Many teenage girls are becoming mothers before they’ve had the chance to finish school or build a future. Deep poverty leaves families struggling, and young girls often feel they have no choice but to prioritise survival over education. Without support, these girls face isolation, lost opportunities and a cycle of hardship that continues into the next generation. Mthunzi Foundation is seeking baby bib donations as part of a broader effort to support teenage mothers with education, emotional care and skills training. With practical help and community support, these young women can rebuild confidence, continue learning and create brighter futures for themselves and their children.

In Chifusa village, many teenage girls are becoming mothers long before they are ready. Poverty forces difficult choices, and education is often set aside as young girls focus on caring for their babies and meeting daily survival needs. Instead of planning their futures, they are navigating motherhood with very limited support. Safe transport is a real concern. A secure baby carrier or car seat suitable for children aged 1 to 4 years can make a significant difference when travelling to health clinics, school programs or skills training sessions. Mthunzi Foundation is seeking donations of baby carriers or car seats appropriate for 1 to 4 year old children to help protect these little ones while their mothers work toward education, emotional wellbeing and greater independence. With practical support, these young families can move toward safer and brighter futures.
