Jarno Snyman is 11 years old and Elaina Reynecke 6 years old, her cousin, both live in a squatter camp due to extreme poverty. These two children attend school but without supplies, like books, uniforms and often food to eat. They want to participate in the school activities and urgently need help.

Meet Rocco—a bright 16-year-old special needs learner with a passion for learning and outstanding academic results. Unfortunately, both his parents are unemployed and cannot afford the transport fees, school uniforms, or learning materials he needs. Across underserved communities in Nigeria and Uganda, millions of children and young people grow up without consistent access to education, books, digital tools, or safe learning spaces. Poverty, displacement, insecurity, and weak infrastructure often mean that school is irregular—or entirely out of reach. Yet these communities are rich in potential: curious children and resilient youths who only need access and opportunity to thrive.<br /><br />Giddy2School exists to bridge this gap.<br /><br />Founded to reduce school dropouts and expand access to quality learning, Giddy2School works with children, youths, and community educators to create inclusive pathways into literacy, education, digital skills, and self-reliance. Our interventions are designed to be practical, scalable, and rooted in the realities of low-resource environments.<br /><br />What We Do<br /><br />Giddy2School delivers community-based education and empowerment through a blend of literacy development, youth leadership, skills training, and technology-enabled learning.
