Giddy2School works across underserved communities in Nigeria and Uganda, where many children and young people grow up without reliable access to education, books, digital tools, or safe learning spaces. Poverty, displacement, insecurity, and weak infrastructure often interrupt schooling or place it completely out of reach. Yet these communities are rich in potential, with curious children and resilient youth eager to learn when given access and opportunity. Founded to reduce school dropouts and expand access to quality learning, Giddy2School creates practical, inclusive pathways into literacy, education, digital skills, and self-reliance. Working closely with children, young people, and community educators, the organisation delivers community-based learning that is scalable and grounded in the realities of low-resource environments, with a strong focus on out-of-school children, informal settlements, and marginalised communities.

Mthunzi Foundation is supported by a small but deeply committed team of seven volunteers, including teachers, health professionals, and social service workers, who give their time freely to support young women in their community. Their mission is to educate and empower teenage mothers, helping them understand the value of education and how it can transform their lives. Despite the challenges these young women face, teachers on the ground are laying strong foundations, encouraging them to continue learning, build skills, and believe in their futures. As the saying goes, “If you educate a woman, you educate a nation.” Mthunzi Foundation is determined to ensure these bright, courageous girls have the basic resources they need to learn. Pens are urgently needed so teenage mothers can participate fully in lessons, develop new skills, and continue their education with dignity and confidence. With the right support and simple tools, these young women can turn determination into opportunity and begin building a better future for themselves and their children.
