Poverty continues to limit opportunity, leaving many young people without the tools they need to build stable futures. Swanakids Trust works to break this cycle by providing children with access to schooling, nourishment, medical care and ongoing emotional support. One young boy, Kitso, joined the program at age 10 having never attended school. Previously sent to work in the fields to support his family, education felt out of reach. With support, he is now thriving academically and dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children in his village.
