Mobile phone
Sonneblom Foundation works to prevent teenage suicide in South Africa by providing immediate, life-saving support to young people in crisis. To continue this work, the foundation urgently needs three mobile phones to keep its counselling and crisis services accessible. One phone is required for a volunteer prevention counsellor and must be Cell C network–enabled. A second phone, Vodacom network–enabled, is needed for the crisis line, which is currently operating on a loan device. A third Vodacom-enabled phone is needed to remain on standby for a teenager in active crisis. SIM cards for any of these phones would be greatly appreciated. Financial contributions are welcome to allow the foundation to purchase the phones directly, and second-hand, fully functional devices are also suitable. Access to reliable communication tools is critical to ensuring no call for help goes unanswered.
