Sewa Development Trust Sindh (SDTS) is requesting 100 bed linen sets (including bed sheet and blanket – toddler size) to support 100 homeless children currently residing in a shelter home in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan.<br /><br />These children come from extremely vulnerable backgrounds and lack access to basic sleeping essentials. In Chifusa village, many teenage girls are becoming mothers while still children themselves. Poverty is driving difficult choices, and education is often sacrificed as young girls focus on meeting basic daily needs for themselves and their babies. Simple essentials like bath towels are often out of reach. Mthunzi Foundation is requesting bath towels of any colour to support teenage mothers in their care programs. Alongside practical items, the Foundation provides education support, emotional guidance and skills training to help these young women regain confidence and build a safer, brighter future for themselves and their children.

In many underprivileged communities, children are growing up without access to consistent education, healthcare or emotional support. Poverty continues to limit opportunity, leaving many young people without the tools they need to build stable futures. Swanakids Trust works to break this cycle by providing children with access to schooling, nourishment, medical care and ongoing emotional support. One young boy, Kitso, joined the program at age 10 having never attended school. Previously sent to work in the fields to support his family, education felt out of reach. With support, he is now thriving academically and dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children in his village. There are many more children like Kitso who need practical resources to stay in school and remain healthy. Swanakids Trust is seeking donated items to strengthen its programs and continue providing opportunity, dignity and hope to vulnerable children.

In Wakiso district Uganda, poverty has made many girls to become single mothers. The luck of education fees and economic skills training business is limiting many of them to make proper decision hence getting married at early age. Due to domestic violence some end up being single mothers. This creates economic hardship for single mothers in the community.
