Most government secondary schools in Niger State lack functional computer labs, leaving thousands of students digitally excluded. This project will establish ICT labs in 10 public secondary schools, provide internet access, and train teachers to deliver digital literacy education. With donor support, students will gain essential technology skills needed for academic success and future employment.

Challenge
Digital illiteracy is a major barrier for young people in Niger State. Many government schools operate without computers, internet connectivity, or trained ICT teachers. As a result, students graduate without the digital skills required for higher education, modern workplaces, or entrepreneurship. This deepens inequality and limits opportunities for youth in underserved communities.

Solution
This project will equip 10 government secondary schools with fully functional ICT labs. Each lab will include computers, accessories, educational software, and reliable internet access. Teachers will receive ICT training to ensure effective instruction. Students will learn basic computing, typing, coding, online research, and digital literacy - skills essential for success in today's world.

Long-Term Impact
By establishing ICT labs across 10 schools, the project will empower thousands of students every year with digital skills that improve academic performance, employability, and confidence. Communities will benefit from a new generation of digitally literate youth capable of driving innovation, supporting local businesses, and contributing to Nigeria's growing digital economy. The project creates sustainable, long-term educational transformation.
