Unlike traditional models, we don’t warehouse donations. Instead, we act as an online matchmaker, linking people in need with global generosity. This approach ensures every contribution directly supports individuals and communities, fostering sustainable recovery and strengthening local economies.

How We Work
1. Local Organisations Get What They Need
Registered non-profits submit detailed requests for their community through Recovere for specific items to support individuals and their communities. They can also access a catalogue of donor-offered goods via the Donation Hub and access a 'virtual warehouse' of global donations - both new and gently used - completely free.

2. Donors Make an Impact
Donors can contribute in multiple ways - by pledging new or pre-loved items or by providing financial support to meet exact needs.
Through Recovere, donors have the flexibility to choose how they give and specify a delivery method that suits them, whether it's shipping, local drop-off, or arranging direct collection with the receiving organisation. This ensures every donation is both meaningful and convenient, reducing waste and maximising impact.

3. Smart Matching
Our smart-matching platform connects generous donations to specific requests, ensuring every item goes exactly where it’s needed. With no warehousing, Recovere streamlines giving - matching generosity with real-time needs for maximum impact.
4. Delivery
Recovere provides flexible delivery options to ensure donations reach the right people in the most effective way:
For Organisations: When our Organisations request an item they specify the way they would like it delivered. Once a donation is matched, organisations coordinate directly with the donor to arrange collection or delivery. In cases where items are sourced from our virtual warehouse, Donors let them know the delivery method.
For Donors: When Donors offer an item they choose how they provide their items - either by delivering them via post or courier directly to the organisation, or, when they are locally based they can drop them off at a designated location, or liaise with the organisation to arrange pick-up.
Additionally, where appropriate, donations can be fulfilled through vouchers, allowing recipients to purchase essential items directly from local businesses, ensuring speed, dignity, and support for the local economy.
This approach eliminates warehousing, reduces logistical barriers, and ensures donations make an immediate impact.
5. Impact Tracking
Every donation is tracked for transparency, allowing donors and stakeholders to see the meaningful difference their contributions make.
We match those who have, with those in urgent need.

We accept both new and gently pre-loved items, in excellent, usable condition—nothing dirty or broken with missing parts. By offering items that are ready to use, we ensure that those in need receive more than just help; they receive dignity and respect. Providing high-quality donations shows that they are cared for, and it allows them to rebuild their lives without the burden of fixing or replacing items.
