The Mthunzi Foundation is an NGO dedicated to advocating for teenage girls who face challenges related to early pregnancy while still in school. These young mothers are often not permitted to continue their education, confronting the harsh realities of a future limited by a lack of education. <br />Recognizing education as the cornerstone of success, the Mthunzi Foundation (MF) observes the alarming deprivation of educational rights experienced by these young women. An educated girl is empowered to foster personal growth and seize opportunities, while a lack of education restricts their potential for a brighter future.

In remote communities across Dowa District in Malawi, many children are trying to go to school without proper clothing. It’s not just uncomfortable, it affects how they feel about themselves. Some children feel embarrassed, lose confidence, and sometimes stop going altogether because they are afraid of being laughed at. They can sometimes manage without shoes. They can sometimes manage without a proper top. But they cannot go to school without pants. This is the simple, urgent need we are facing. With something as basic as a pair of shorts, a child can walk into school with dignity, feel confident, and stay in class. It may seem small, but for these children, it can make the difference between attending school or staying home. We urgently need shorts for children of all ages. Any size. Any colour. Pre-loved or new, everything is welcome. Your donation will go directly to children who need it, helping them show up, participate, and continue their education with confidence.

For many families, even basic hygiene items are difficult to afford, leaving children without the comfort and care they deserve. Centre for Disability and Elderly Affairs (CDEA) is seeking donations of new or gently used baby bath towels to support underprivileged children with disabilities in the community. Clean, soft towels help keep children warm, comfortable and cared for after bathing, while also supporting dignity and good hygiene.
