Many displaced families in Nepal are sleeping in temporary camps and community facilities. Sleeping mats provide insulation from cold and hard ground and a more comfortable place to rest.

Rukwa Social Service Organization abbreviated as RUSOSEO or R-SSO is a legal registered non-Governmental organization, and not for profit operating in Tanzania, Rukwa region – East Africa. Our mission target is to help and support rural Community, Vulnerable, and marginalized population with SIDAs approach, Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI), and Disabilities Gender and Social Inclusion (DGESI) strategies in all projects. The organization needs both financial and material support to achieve our objectives

We encourage and support adult education to unschooled adults, often happening under a tree, or on the edge of a mountain. Having chairs for the trainers would make a huge difference

Women with disabilities in Machinga, Thyolo, and Zomba face daily hardship just to prepare a meal. Many must collect firewood or buy charcoal, exposing them to health risks, physical strain, and environmental harm. For 250 women, limited mobility makes these tasks especially difficult and unsafe. Access to camping stove gas will allow safer, cleaner, and more efficient cooking. It will reduce reliance on charcoal, protect local forests, and free up time and income for daily needs. This support will ease physical burden, improve wellbeing, and help women live with greater dignity and independence in their homes and communities.
