HADR Institute is seeking funds to purchase waterproof raincoats, jackets or ponchos with hoods, as well as warm, durable jackets to support people who have been displaced by conflict in the mountainous regions of Myanmar. The scale of displacement across the region is significant. Approximately 268,000 people are internally displaced in Kayin (Karen) State and approximately 134,000 in Kayah (Karenni) State. Across the border, Thailand continues to host people from Myanmar who have fled conflict and remain displaced, including approximately 136,500 refugees living in temporary shelters along the Thai–Myanmar border, according to UNHCR's figures. Many displaced communities are living in challenging conditions with limited protection from the weather. Waterproof outerwear is particularly important during the monsoon and rain seasons, while warm jackets can provide essential protection from the cold, especially during cold nights in mountainous areas. Donations will be provided to local partners supporting displaced and vulnerable communities in Myanmar, helping displaced people to stay warm, dry, and protected from harsh weather conditions.

Child First, an NGO based in Lilongwe, Malawi supporting 5 rural primary schools, requests 4 refurbished laptops. They will be used for project planning, reporting, M&E, and training teachers as well as Mother Groups to support 3,500 learners.

On May 29th 2025 Mokwa Niger State Nigeria experienced tragic floods that unalive over 200 people and rendered many homeless. Again, on 4th of May 2026 there was an unprecedented rain storm that destroyed over a thousand houses. Some victims of this devastation are still unable to repair their houses due to the high cost of roofing sheets.<br />We therefore seek for the intervention of humanitarian organizations to provide roofing sheets to give relief to the victims.

In Liberia, most family lived less than a dollar a day. The cause of living in Liberia is very high. Base on the high cause of living, more children dropped out of school in search of food and other things to sustain themselves.

Our initiative aims to ensure that teenage mothers have guaranteed access to quality education and skills training provided by the Mthunzi Foundation Many girls report feelings of rejection, isolation, and discrimination, which affect their sense of self-worth. It is imperative that these young girls receive the support, love, and encouragement they need to thrive. Thus, through the support of sponsors, partners, and kind-hearted individuals, the Mthunzi Foundation aspires to create an environment in which we can collectively help teenage girls and secure their future.

Joshua is 10 years old. He has severe autism, is non-verbal, and lives with epilepsy. He relies completely on routine and the people who understand him to feel safe — and right now, that safety is at risk.<br />His family can no longer afford his school fees from next year. They've applied for a place at a public special needs school, but the waiting list is long, and there's no way to know how long they'll have to wait.<br />To keep Joshua in the school where he is safe, cared for, and understood — while they wait — his family needs approximately R9,200/month.<br />
